Throughout the ages, sailors held the belief that a full keel sailboat was the optimal choice for navigating the world's oceans. In the present day, numerous adventurers will only set off on lengthy solo offshore journeys if they have the assurance and security offered by a full keel.
At Full Keel, our objective is to offer clients reliable and transparent appraisal services that can withstand the most rigorous scrutiny. We strive to provide assessments that remain steadfast even in the face of critical analysis, much like a well-built full keel sailboat perseveres through any storm.
Leadership
Tim Johnson — Founder & Chief Valuation Officer (CVO)
Before founding Full Keel in 2023, Tim worked for over 16 years at Colchester Partners, a broker-dealer renowned for specializing in providing M&A services to financial institutions and the investment management sector. During his tenure at Colchester, Tim actively engaged in more than a hundred client projects, encompassing a wide range of M&A transactions, strategic advisory endeavors, and business appraisal services.
Tim's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, which he earned from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In recognition of his expertise and dedication to the business valuation profession, he received an Accredited Member (AM) designation in Business Valuation by the American Society of Appraisers.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Tim cherishes spending quality time with his wife and two children. An enthusiast of oceanic adventures, he finds joy in activities such as sailing, surfing, swimming, and spearfishing. Tim's dedication to excellence extends to his personal life, as evidenced by his completion of three full-distance Ironman triathlons and his past achievements as a competitive mid-distance runner at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
